A new or extended student card (ISIC) is active within approximately 1 hour and no further action is required to activate it.
If you do not have a valid student card (ISIC), get it extended or issued in The CTU Card Centre.

Discount of 20,50 CZK on a main dish, up to a maximum of 22 meals per month. Breakfasts, baguettes, soups, and other items are not eligible for any discount.

Students of other universities located in the Czech Republic - without any price discount
Students of other universities must activate their card (open or extend an account) at the places designated for this (Strahov Canteen - accountant's office,
Studentský dům Canteen - box office),
please prepare proof of your studies (e.g. confirmation of studies, index with study registration, valid ISIC card (with coupon or sticker)). ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE PERFORMED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS!
If you do not have a student card issued by your school, or if your school's card does not have a supported chip, you can use other cards that you own that have a chip, e.g. OpenCard, In-Karta ČD, Lítačka.
The account established with us is active for the entire academic year (depending on the validity of the ISIC or study certificate), therefore it is important to request reactivation every year.
Proof of study for the given academic year is required for this.
